Onside Hendersonville Soccer Club

The head and assistant coaches of Hendersonville Soccer Club are meeting to discuss the future of the season and for those who need the training necessary.  The meeting will provide coaches with free CPR training. All coaches are required to complete CPR training and complete a concussion protocol video that gives them a certification.

During the time of Black History Month , I think it would be a good chance to show the history of black soccer legends who made the sport more diverse and who encouraged the world. These players helped the change of diversity through communities. Arthur Wharton - The first ever black professional soccer player. Born in what is now Accra, Ghana in 1865. Wharton received backlash and racist comments for his time pro. That did not stop him from pursuing his career in soccer. Pelé -  Edson Arantes do Nascimento, or better known as Pelé, is one of the most accomplished soccer players of all time.  Pelé has scored the most goals in FIFA history and has won three World Cups with Brazil.  Unfortunately, he recently passed away on December 29, 2022.  Pelé lives on as one of the greatest to ever do it and was an inspiration to all. Hendersonville Soccer Club is a recreational organization located in Hendersonville, TN, that organizes soccer for all ages.  HSC allows anyone to volunteer to become a coach, and to referee. They also hold events and fundraisers during the season. Tournaments are also offered by HSC for teams who are looking for competition outside of the normal scheduling of games. With this blog, I want to talk about the enviroment of Hendersonville Soccer Club and how the orgainzation functions. Future post will involve the sport of soccer, coaches, staff, field maintenance, players, and history of soccer. I hope to update those on the events of Hendersonville Soccer Club, and the effort that goes into the proccess of creating an enviroment for those to play recreational soccer.
